Almost voted against Banstyle. After a quick re-listen, however, Stagger had to go.

i voted for pearls girl, although i wish i had voted for 'confusion the waitress'. that song made me fall asleep numerous times. then again, so does pretty much everything that i really dig.

you know...
I love Confusion... when they play it live, but to me - it just doesn't work quite as well on the album.

i'm listening to STITI right now to refresh my memory and inform my votes. Dang, this is hard! Found i like "Confusion" more than i remembered...same with "Banstyle/Sappys Curry". Unfortunately, "Stagger" still not rocking my socks.

speaking of best tracks...for those that think it's a foregone conclusion that "juanita..." or "Pearls Girl" will win it all...i urge you to relisten to the whole album. It might just be that "Banstyle/Sappys Curry" is the most complex and varied track on the disc. Is it the best? Well, on what is clearly a album-oriented (vs. singles oriented) LP, it might just be!

Oh man, you said exactly what I was thinking. I love "Banstyle/Sappys Curry." It's my favourite track on the album by a huge margin. From a purely musical standpoint, I think it might be Underworld's best track ever. That acoustic guitar in the second half is incredible.

The reverb on the clap that kicks in during the second half always floored me.
Honestly this is going to be damn near imposible when we're left with Pearl's Girl, Juanita and Banstyle to choose from. I'll probably have to stop voting.

if either juanita or banstyle even gets one vote till the last round i will crap my pants... stagger should go, but i can't beleive it lasted longer than air towel, or that confusion might go out at the same time, those two are my 3rd and 4th favs on the albumn

wow. this is getting harder. voted Juanita, mainly cos i don't think the album version's as good as the live version. took some thinking about though.

Hey, looks like there's a few other fans of "Banstyle". Maybe there is more hope than I thought.

Of course man, after Juanita it's my favourite track!
I concur that Confusion is the best track on STITI. :(
