Here's the tracklisting I got off of Dirtyradio.net:

? Underworld - JAL To Tokyo
? Underworld - Mmm Skyscraper...I Love You
? Underworld - Kittens
? Underworld - Long Neck Squad
? Underworld - Tatalitada Thread
? Underworld - Morrocan Meatballs
? Underworld - Juanita
? Underworld - Spikee
? Underworld - Rez
? dirty2hy
? Underworld - Simple Distinctive (Floating World)
? Underworld - Nuxx
? Underworld - Two Months Off
? Underworld - Aquafunk
? Underworld - Peggy Sussed
? Underworld - Lenny Penne
? Underworld - Small Conker And A Twix
? Underworld - You Do Scribble
? Underworld - Back In The Fears
? Underworld - King Of Snake
? Underworld - Pearls Girl
? Underworld - Push Upstairs
? Underworld - Dark Train
? Underworld - Yard Beat
? Underworld - Jumbo
? Underworld - Rowla
? Underworld - Moaner

The only differences from the tracklisting posted by Spoonman is the two tracks after Kittens. Plus there were smacks of Dub Shepherd at the end of Back in the Fears, although not listed as a seperate track. Great stuff, this was my first listen as life happened the other times it's been aired. Are they playing Tokyo again now or is this Osaka?

I think this is Tokyo again - seems to be.

The two tracks after "Kittens" were a blip though. Just our favourite DJ having some fun. :p

Update: still playing, server maxed out. Keep trying.

Eikman's show will be at 6pm CET 5pm UK as usual and then revert back to the live stuff afterwards.

They're playing Osaka at the moment ...

We've had a few exclusive gigs so far. Toronto, Glastonbury and Quart as far as I can remember. Just keep tuning in. There isnt a schedule as far as I know but the Tokyo gig will keep getting played. If you want to hear it you'll just have to tune in.

You guys never come out with a schedule of events before hand. This is so unfair. It's the least you could do.

You know, I'm a huge fan of Underworld, and have been for a long time. And I support the band every chance I can, from CD's, to MP3's, even travelling across an ocean to see them! Twice!!!111!!1!

This is all stimpee's fault.

Yeah!

I blame Stimpee. (Well, somebody needs to be blamed about something here although I am not quite sure what.) :D

Seriously though, I think he has made sterling efforts to get the Tokyo issue resolved in the face of great difficulties and not a small amount of ire from some forum members. Now his cryptic message about "good news soon" makes sense. And it was, indeed, very soon.

Cheers mate. Nice one.

And Yannick...

NO!

NO SINGING.

EVER AGAIN! :p

well.
ive asked Yannick for a recording of the Toronto October 2002 gig...
not a peep back from him.
then, i hear from stimpee that the gig was broadcasted on dirty.
with NO prior heads up .
so...did anyone record the toronto gig ?
and...the Tokyo gig as well ?

this is NDRWRLD by the way.

I was wondering about the Toronto gig too. I've kept a pretty close eye on the broadcast since Saturday recording it throughout the day(s) and have yet to hear Toronto 2002.

I've asked Yannick for a repeat broadcast of it. From an RTSR point of view, it wont get released until it has been edited.

Hi folks

Just wrapping up a capture of the stream- once I throw it through a dsp filter and give it a little more oomph I'll be able to share it if anyone's interested. What would be the best way for you guys? I'll probably end up torrenting it for another forum, but if anyone's got webspace or an ftp I can throw it up there too :)

Cheers!

What was that 2-hour 2-part gig broadcast on sunday evening (French time) ? Part 1 includes Juanita, Dark train, Cherry pie/Rowla, Pearl's girl. Part 2 includes Confusion the waitress, original Born slippy, Nuxx, Rez/Cowgirl. It should be from 1996 according to the tracklisting.

That whole weekend broadcast was a nice idea, I hope to hear more hard-to-find gigs in the future on the dirtyradio.

If Rowla had dipped in to parts of Cherry Pie then that would have been summin else....

Btw, does anyone know if there were visuals for the gig or just the Vjing now and then?

None! I was really looking forward to seeing them again too, but the quality of the gig made up for that!

They did have the awesome laser during KoS. They also had a big disco ball, or something, back behind them that they shot bright light off of every so often - it created some interesting atmospheres during the show!

Same question ! I guess the guy(s) who prepared the broadcasts know what gig it is ?

EDIT : I've found what gig it is : Roskilde 26.06.1996. I already had a version of that gig but with some tracks missing (Confusion the waitress, original Born slippy and Rez/Cowgirl).

on the Tokyo gig, one of the moments that really shines for me is Simple Distinctive (Floating World). This is a beautiful piece, delicate and thoughtful without coming across indulgent or pretentious. It's fucking rich  I can only imagine what fun they've had scoring the movie, what a treat that will be!

Did the Quart Festival one include Air Towel? I'm dying to hear it (though the version we already know was okay, but with a few drop-outs as far as I remember).

Here's the tracklisting I got off of Dirtyradio.net:

? Underworld - Kittens
? Underworld - Long Neck Squad
? Underworld - Tatalitada Thread
? Underworld - Morrocan Meatballs
? Underworld - Juanita

The only differences from the tracklisting posted by Spoonman is the two tracks after Kittens.I've just downloaded a cue file from the net, and while this was previously discarded as Yan having some fun (it did confuse me for a while), it now looks like these could be the real thing. Well, the same track anyway. From the cue file:

TRACK 04 AUDIO
TITLE "Long Neck Squad/Tatalitada Thread/Morrocan Meatballs"
PERFORMER "Underworld"
INDEX 01 24:05:50

So it appears that Morrocan Meatballs is Long Neck Squad is Tatalitada Thread. The other thing to note is that its Morrocan not the correct spelling Moroccan. Spoonman's original listing did state the former but he also spelled "Mmm Skycraper ... I love you" and "Small Concker and a twix" so I was wondering.

Unless of course this cue file is a load of rubbish :)

Erm...

I seem to recall a certain canadian referring to himself singing in the car the day before as being one of those "odd tracks. So yes. The cue file is prolly a pile of poo. ;)

The dirtyradio broadcast @ 96kbps was crystal clear, as you would expect for a mastered CD. Glad you're enjoying it though.

BeautifulBurnout: I think you might be right.
