OK some Questions on the Origins of these new track names...

We can kinda worked out where JAL to Tokyo came from...Japan Air Lines to Tokyo...fairly simple, and KH mentioned the fact in one of his UWLive blogs...

but Pizza for Eggs...seems a bit nonsensical...is it Engrish?

or was it on a dodgy Japanese greasy spoon cafe board which KH liked the sound of it...or was it some kinda bizarre supermarket trade...any ideas...??

and there are more...

what's the Lovely Broken Thing?

who's Peggy Sussed?

and Lenny Penne where does he fit in?

You Do Scribble - erm, i do what?

Food a Ready seems kinda Japanese 'Engrish' to me...

but most confusing of all, in my mind, is

Ancient Phat Farm Coat ...what the kinda mind bending drugs have been smoked to come up with that title...?!?!

we do often find out where track titles originate from (usually on those CDR interview discs or in magazine articles)... but would anyone care to shed light on these track names before the official word comes...??

i haven't heard of any greyhouds called Ancient Phat Farm Coat recently...

There's a lot of vaguely food-related stuff going on here.

Pizza for eggs?
Lenny Penne?
Food a Ready?

Been eating a lot of Italian food lately, perhaps? (Try "food a ready" in a cheesy faux-Italian accent. :D)

Some of the others remind me of that old discussion about voice recognition software though.

Now I'm hungry.

pizza for eggs
my theory is that there's a bloke called eggs. and someone got pizza for him.

the rest is probably engrish.

lenny penne seems to have come from penny lane, cos a lot of the ep was recorded in abbey road, aparently...

i don't buy that thinking..."crabby rabbe" or something maybe, but penny lane = lenny penne...mmm...its too tenuious...

still it may be true....

Phat Farm is a clothing company. labeled for "urban" wear which (here, anyway) is a fun euphamism for "if you're not black you're going to look really funny in this"

they also make coats.

so, there was maybe an abandoned/old coat they found somewhere that was from Phat Farm.

If you listened to the rob da bank show, some of the track titles were explained;)

i would like to call to attention my inability to link APFC with the company Phat Farm, being that i used to freelance for them for over a year. im amazed that i never made this connection whether it be the true inspiration or not.

that one was uber obvious. BUT.. that doesnt explain any track titles, that just explains a lyric in a song.

peggy sussed is pretty straightforward. i looked it up on dictionary.com and sussed means 'determined or guessed'. so i guess some chick named peggy guessed something.
