Techno Shinkansen on F1 24 soundtrack

So, Techno Shinkansen was announced as debuting on the F1 24 video game soundtrack (https://www.xboxachievements.com/news/f1-24-soundtrack-unveiled-launch-next-week/).

However, when the soundtrack was posted to Spotify for streaming only, it did not include the Underworld track. https://twitter.com/EASPORTSF1/status/1793960138715357526

The game was released on May 31 though, and the song is included in the game. Thanks to Yannick, he extracted the song from the game data, and you can download it here:

It does sound like it may be edited down.

Love this track! Feel like the shimmery/arpeggiated piano is pulled from one of the drift songs?couldn?t place it though.

Hope this gets a full release somewhere. Maybe why it wasn?t included in the Spotify mix?

Thanks for sharing this! Love the synth bassline throughout, echoes of tracks like Mo Move, King of Snake, DA3D, Jumbo, etc... Especially cool groove going from ~2:00 - 3:00.

Album version is better then the edit.

Album version feels neutered in comparison, prefer this original one from the game, glad I got it when available. The album edit feels punchier, but doesn't go as hard in the buildup and definitely not as epic feeling. The isolated dirty piano intro also feels odd, but do like how it kicks in after that. Will probably be swapping it out for original one (definitely going to be some shuffling).

I would love if Underworld did something like Leftfield with did with This Is What We Do and Version Excursion. Give us a reworked dub/ambient jam version of Strawberry Hotel tracks.
