getting the japonais tracks

i managed to buy the stuff from itunes japan.

got a friend to buy me a prepaid card from japan
switched from local itunes store to japanese (in itunes, bottom of the main page)
made an account with friend's address, no jap credit card needed.
redeem the code on the card. voila!

if you don't have a contact in japan - i think there's an importer that will do it.
jlist? jbox, something like that.

i got mine using JList to buy my iTunes Japan card. went very smoothly, and they even give you an address to use to make your iTunes Japan account.

I've had some jlist/itunes card problems...

Unfortunately I tried creating an account today I can't seem make an account. I am stopped on the billing address. it looks like I HAVE to have a Japanese credit card. They don't seem to accept iTunes card? What am I missing? Thank you very much in advance for you kind attention.

Could someone please send me a PM on how exactly to do this...

So you have the iTunes number now? I think you can either skip the address part when registering or just put in any address. As long as you have a valid number you can use the card.

You did read the JList instructions, right?

On their website it says:
Once you have your iTMS Japan code, follow these easy steps:



Load iTunes on your Mac or PC, and choose the Japan store from the popup at the bottom.
If you've already got an account in your home country, sign out by clicking on the Account button in the upper left hand corner.
Click the iTunes Music Card link, and enter the scratch-off number printed on the back of the card.
Create a new account, using any address in Japan you like (you may use ours as a dummy address if you like). You can do this in English or any language that's supported by iTunes.
Enjoy purchasing great music and albums from Japan's iTunes Music Store!

I figured it out... you have to reedeeeeem the card then
it makes you create an account...

the info on the website is incorrect in terms of process...

I'll have my full run down of the JTT ep later... so far i
think it is better than LBT... not sure if it's better than
pizza...

Well it includes JAL to Tokyo from LBT and Food A Ready/Ancient Phat Farm Coat from PFE and a nice remix. The version of FAR is about 30 secs longer but the APFC is about 11mins longer. Very mellow. I like it.
