Today i was digging through some ancient boxes and found these CDs that i'd completely forgotten about, which contain a lot of what were (back in the day) v rare/hard to find uw remixes inc 108 Grand, One Dove, Spooky, Bjork, Shakespears Sister etc. They were made in 2000 by someone from here or the dirty list (initials PD) who kindly gave me a credit on the sleeve note (i think i contributed a track or 2). The point of this post is to give props and big thanks to whoever put these together - thanks! Are you still on this forum? Say hello! https://i.postimg.cc/k4CGtVkc/uw-remixes.jpg

Also dirties, we prob all agree that uw did some crackin' remixes back in the day. What's yer fave? I'm currently listening to One Dove - Why Don't You Take Me (Underworld 2 Up 2 Down Remix) :)

Oh... I vaguely remember this! Are those mixed (as in the tracks transition into each other) - or are they compilations of full length tracks?

It'd be great to have a copy. I bet that a fair amount of tracks are still pretty had to come by.

Sorry, that was daft. Here's the tracklists:

(I don't think the last 2 are uw mixes. I suspect PD tracked them down while napster trawling and liked them enough to use them to fill out the last cd ;))

They're compilations of full length tracks. But funnily enough i've been experimenting trying to put a mix together with mainly dubno era tracks and some of these remixes. I'd like it to feel a bit like an uw live/improv show with elements of diff tracks blended (I'd love to have seen uw performing live with Bjork guesting for human behaviour). It'll probably end up being yet another project i start and fail to finish, but there's hope! :D

Brilliant cataloguage (poss a made up word) as usual. Thanks muchly for the info - there's some in there i've never heard esp where there are multiple mixes of a track. I'd love to hear those megamixes sometime too :D

Oh, that reminds me - I don't think it's been mentioned before - I recently came across "Cafe Del Mar (20 Years Anniversary)", and it includes slightly longer edits of each remix

Cafe Del Mar (Underworld Mix) - 8:24
Cafe Del Mar (Underworld Dub Heaven) - 12:20
Cafe Del Mar (Underworld Mix Three) - 13:45

Mix three includes a bit of an intro from Rick.
