As I recall, Los Angeles radio DJ Jason Bentley mistakenly but very enthusiastically and explicitly credited Underworld for the then-brand new song, Good Day Today. There was spirited debate on this forum (or was that the old forum?) about it, with some of us insisting there was no way it was Underworld and some of us arguing it was possible. Shortly thereafter, Bentley apologized and clarified that the song was by none other than David Lynch.

Subsequently (perhaps consequently?) Underworld created a remix for the song.

Exactly right. The whole thing went down in a thread on here. I think it was in the Scribble single thread, as that song had debuted just a couple days prior.

Coming off the back of the 'what the hell was that?' response Scribble got, anything seemed possible at the time. I'm not sure anyone was expecting it to be David Lynch, though.
