Quick question: Named after an irish pub in kyoto, Obvously, the remix of Cowgirl is named after which pub there? I thought I'd seen info on it somewhere, and even a photo but my googling skills have let me down or the pages have been removed...
I only found this quite recent interview with Darren Emerson:
https://noctive.jp/article/NTT-nt-0070-en
Darren loves Kyoto so much he even named a remix after it, called “Cowgirl (Irish Pub in Kyoto Mix)”.

I can confirm that there's a British pub in Kyoto (http://www.pigandwhistle.beer/) as I had a beer there in 2005. Maybe it was Irish in the mid-90s??

There's a Pig & Whistle here in Hollywood too. Wonder if there's any affiliation. http://pignwhistlehollywood.com

Well google mapping does reveal Pig and Whistle, Man in the Moon (many of these), Wisteria, and even a pub called "Your Irish Pub in Kyoto".

Apparently YIPIK only opened last year https://metropolisjapan.com/your-irish-pub-kyoto/
The Pig & Whistle has been open since 1986 however, http://www.pigandwhistle.beer
The Irish Pub, Field says it was the first Irish pub n Kyoyo... in 2000 :-) https://kyotofield.com/irishpub_e.html so thats not it either.
Irish Pub Gnome looks like its in a new building, doesnt have a website either same goes for Dublin. Castle West only has a Japanese website but the building doesnt look old enough.
My money is on the Pig & Whistle.

Pig & Whistle says it's a British pub though, not Irish.
