Your hopes and dreams for the releases between each Drift episode?
I'm listening back to Electraglide 2000, and would love to hear the Bird 1 / Confusion the Waitress jam, or a studio jam like it.

Loved to have a full studio jam set. The Romford release was great, but can we have the whole thing? Pretty please :)

SPEAKING OF ELECTROGLIDE 2000
HOW BOUT SOME TROUSERS
part of it ended up being beautiful burnout but
I WANT THAT.
the bird 1/confusion mx is definitely an all time fave though. i wanted to make a video around it for one of my final design projects at the time
(how were you going to make a video around a poorly recorded live track, dubman?)
hush.

has anyone noticed any drift releases/sections bearing any resemblance to any bits of Ricks pre-show at ally pally from 2017 (or the similar utrecht shows)?
There were also 2 rumoured tracks (GCGW? and/or Red Earth?) from the ADE gig. Wonder if anything from these will feature either in drift, or the world releases.

would love the following
"You Do Scribble" w/ vocals
"Always Loved a Film/Silver Boots"
"Bamboo"
"Moon in Water", the original version
the early "Diamond Jigsaw", before Paul van Dyk got his hands on it
I know we have versions of a lot of these but a high-quality studio take would be awesome

Yes, great selection. I really like Airtowel and PG Jam, its like blast from the past. Classic Underworld. ALAF is one of my fav tracks, I really liked the pre-release versions.

Original “Moon In Water” is top priority for me. That song kind of changed my life honestly, clueing me in to ideas that led to meditation and self care.

I'm not aware of those tracks but re: Red Earth, you seen the DRIFT SONGS artwork with the dog?

Good catch!
Think we'll get something new this Thursday? Even with the new mix of "soniamode" today? I suspect/hope yes, but don't want to be greedy with today's announcements.

Interesting perspective.
Seem to recall a photo of the ADE setlist being circulated, and that's where the titles came from.

Yes, some of those, including Red Earth, were on the mixer strips for Rick's pre-show sets for Surreal Carnival Experiment.

"Always Loved a Film/Silver Boots"
Weirdest track evolution ever. Went from a brilliant almost instant classic, to a lurching lethargic thing, to... the album version. I’ll never get it, and never not hear a massive bogey.

1000x this. I have similar feelings with Darc/Parc, but at least that was abandoned proper

What did Parc evolve to? I thought that was just a one-off. Brilliant track (IMO) though it does sort of weirdly cut off as it's really starting to take off.
As for ALAF...man there are so many versions of this already, but I loved both the ALAF w/vocals pre-Barking (I thought that the Barking version was fine but I didn't like how it smoothed out the bass line. For me half the appeal of the track was that shifty, kinda funky bass part), and "Silver Boots" which was something else entirely

Do we have any recordings of Surreal Carnival Experiment in circulation? All I have seen / heard about it was the announcement video on YouTube

There's a recording of the UW set at Alexandra Palace here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ie8a1DMpSl8
On RTSR, there are recordings of all 3 nights at TivoliVredenburg, both Rick and UW sets.

Oh damn! Wish I could help, but all I could do would be on the front end / look and feel or chip in on server costs.
Good luck!!

Are the WOUW downloads time limited in the same way the drift ones are?
If so, how long is the time limit?
I ask, as I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a week and a half. I'll be able to access todays release, but am a teeny bit concerned I may miss next weeks release.

One week, same as the Drift downloads. Sounds like you should be fine.

Yes, please!
In another reality (or maybe when I get time to mix them), Cappe Ffuno+Pens (end of Cups,)+ a few of the strong techno interludes from the AHDO tour (might be Pricey solo stuff) are mixed together live, and there is much rejoicing.
