"We'll come back to that later."
"Yeah, there's something about it isn't there?"
"Hang on to it."
"I've got a couple of ideas."
"If it went more like..."
Here is "Are You Rockstar". Maybe you've been waiting?
And it's still just as you might have heard in a Pigshed broadcast from some time ago.
Every couple of years, someone would mention it and we'd get all excited, usually around the compiling of a new album. And then the same discussion would unfold.
"There's definitely something there..."
"I can't put my finger on it..."
"Don't waste it..."
"We'll come back to that later."
====================================
Kind of mellow, but nice to hear Karls voice again.

One of my favorite Underworld songs. I listen to the broadcast rip all the time. Lovely to have this in higher quality. Thanks, fellas.

oooh - another nice surprise!
btw, how are you guys labeling these one-off tracks - like 'Twist', 'Rowla/Cherry Jam', and 'Small Conker And A Twix' - as far as the "album"
Like, I'm not too keen on keeping it as "Unknown Album" - I've been using "World Of Underworld" and just curious about everyone else...

Also calling em "World of Underworld". Along w/ the mixes. Same vein as the old UnderworldLive tracks from 2000 or so

Was Rowla/Cherry Jam downloadable? If so, I must have missed it. I have Twist, Small Conker, Are You Rockstar, but not Rowla/Cherry Jam. Anyone have a link?

Unfortunately, Rowla/Cherry Jam wasn't downloadable. I just downloaded the streaming file, and added it to the 'album'
Misterons WOUW Mix (d/l of streaming file)
Coming Out of Texas (d/l of streaming file)
Romford 1998 Rehearsal (d/l of streaming file)
Rowla/Cherry Jam (d/l of streaming file)
The Misterons - La Bella Malinconia (d/l of streaming file)
Small Conker and a Twix
Twist (Music Bank Jam Take 7)

How do you download streaming files? I used an audio recorder to record the stream internally.

Despite its name, youtube-dl is rather adept at downloading media from a number of sites including Mixcloud, SoundCloud, Facebook, etc. 4K Video Downloader might also work if you want a GUI solution.
For audio quality, if you have choices as to where to download, YouTube is better than SoundCloud is better than MixCloud.

Wish Underworld would just sell these in proper quality. Soundcloud and Mixcloud are such crappy quality. I'll gladly pay for these.

I’ve taken to adding them as disc2 of Drift part 2

That's what I'm doing too.
Stuff prior to this went under an album called "underworldlive.com"

Anyone else getting a "Skym" vibe from this? The drone note, the reverb vocal doing most of the work? Great atmosphere, and i don't at all mind drone ambient tracks, but i do wish, like Skym, there was a little more happening with the music. Just some change or variation, maybe?
p.s., i'm also calling these Drift interlude releases "world of underworld"; ripped the streams and am compiling on disc chronologically by era, not necessarily release date.

Yes I feel that vibe too. And Im in favor to include there beautiful pieces too, like this one and amazing rendition of Twist - my favourite really.

I'm just calling the album the same as the track name but may switch to 'world of underworld' as I quite like that

It's definitely been around since Skym - this was broadcast as early as late 1997, on the XM Radio test transmissions.
