I was reading an interview with Tony McPhee, main man behind blues band The Groundhogs (established in the 60's), and he states that on his next album he want to invite many different vocalists. He said (my own translation): "There is possibility that on my album will sing many vocalists: Captain Sensible, David Tibet, Steve Malkmus or Karl Hyde".
I read it in polish magazine "Lizard".
Anyone has more info on this?

Not a fan of the Groundhogs, but frankly an album with David Tibet, Captain Sensible and Karl on would be something I'd have to check out, being a huge fan of all three.

"...and a 14 year old Harry queues to see The Groundhogs at the townhall..."
I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that The Groundhogs were the first show Karl ever went to, may be mistaken, but I've definitely heard mention of them in Karl's history.

Q: what about future plans?
"Ah, there’s a guy called Karl Hyde from Underworld, although they are a dance band he’s a blues man and he wants to come in with me and do a blues album, which will be fantastic. I keep saying I’m going to send these ideas across to him. We’re doing it a bit like Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. I send my guitar parts and he sends me his guitar songs and we’ll see what happens."
