From their e-mail newsletter sent out today:

In the meantime you can watch Underworld perform live on Later with Jools (http://email.mailing.tmstor.es/c/eJwVjjsOwyAQRE9jSrQsn0BBkSb34BfHCRssTOTrB0tTzJti9J KvvSKx7LOLOrPNIwgDCp3QeJM3rq0SmlsrjOLmLpQ0iIsCClvd visfdIzWeTnYy6tcnC4ATkonUzAKLSQFBSMWHZ6RkbdoUTtW_W uMfZH3BR8z53nyGBNPjf8-k_fe1h6IyjEhAhiqUK_aW8gpHOPaf3tqNBVY9-8y9m2dVuulNW_oD5B8QM8)for the first time on BBC 2 in the UK on Tuesday 3rd May at 10pm, then Friday 9th May at 11.50pm.

dunno if they are two unique gigs or a rebroadcast of one gig.

"Later" tapes twice each week on Tuesday. The first taping is broadcast live as the half-hour "Later Live" on Tuesday. The second taping is fully edited and broadcast as the full hour "Later" on Friday.

You can think of the live show as the "dress rehearsal" for the "real" show.

Based on the episode description, it sounds like we'll probably get 1 song on Later Live, and 3 songs on Later. I'm guessing probably I Exhale, NUXX, and either If Rah or Low Burn.

For those in the US, this episode (Later; we don't get Later Live) will air on MTV Live on May 19.

If Rah and Nuxx tonight... odd seeing them do the radio edit of NUXX, I can't remember them starting with the chords for many a year.

Also, Friday is the 6th, not the 9th. Not sure what calendar they were looking at.

Watched on iPlayer - can you imagine being a younger band lined up across from the mighty UW?

For such a landmark occasion I thought If Rah wasn't a good choice. To me they seemed a bit exposed and vulnerable with this. The song is easy to misconstrue as it seems something of a parody (or is it irony?), and the audience and vibe wasn't your normal UW connoisseurs and long-time devotees. I just didn't think it worked that great, which is obviously a shame. Born Slippy (NUXX) on the other hand, now that kicked some major arse and was utterly indisputably authoritatively categorically bang on brilliant.

And to be clear, the performances of If Rah and Nuxx are different from the Later Live show.
