Just listening to Karl's BBC Radio 6 interview (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p029hsdf) and learned that the guy from Black was one of the people who founded Tomato with Rick and Karl. I used to love the song Wonderful Life but never went deeper into the Black (har har).

While I was exploring his catalog on Discogs, I noticed some typography that looks very familiar. Check it out:

hey, it was 1987, the sax was a respectable vehicle for emotional delivery.

These designs certainly seem to be predecessors to the Dubnobass and Born Slippy packages specifically. Well spotted.
