Last night, got sleep, real sleep & woke up feeling like I
belonged in this skin, Sun shining, cool air, beautiful light,
yep, this could work. Catch a train into the city to record
with Brian & Fred – two new albums in the pipe with hours of
material still un-released. A bag full of poetry, a camera,
a capo, experience, imagination & a pocket full of plectrums -
that should do it.

Brian is probably Brian Eno, I would assume, and Fred could be Fred Frith, a guitarist who's worked with Eno.

A Karl Hyde/Brian Eno album? And a new Underworld album?

I meant to add a sentence up above to the effect of "don't think they're done just yet..."
I've heard in an interview somewhere that there's hours of material with Eno that's never seen the light of day as well.

Dear friends, sorry to be late this time,

I just got back from Panensky Tynec, where I saw Underworld for the fifth time now.
The show is really innovated and in all of the songs are new sonic elements. In all of the songs I repeat.
The tracks were mixed - sequenced to each other. The kick drums in the tracks were so awesome,
great sound by Rick Smith and John Newsham.

Underworld performing as duo.

The setlist was:

01 Improvisation (Introduction) - Karl was scratching, the song was bouncing
02 Cowgirl - With the long middle section with the bass - mindblowing
03 Rez - With that nice outro
04 Pearls Girl - With new section, rearranged, top stuff, just like breakbeat, really new to Underworld.
05 Everybody Jack - Karl was dancing and the beat was well innovated, very great sound
06 ALAF - awesome rendition of this track, Underworld at top form this concert
07 Spikee - that guitar was really sharp and just everywhere, great sound I repeat
08 TMO - I heard clearly sections of I will Kiss there. With long section with girl voice, Karl and Rick both hands in the air. Awesome moment.
09 Scribble - I cant exactly remember because I was in Pure Trance by then...
10 Dark Train/Nu Train - Well to be honest, its completelly new - its like Nu NU Train, new beat, rearranged too.
11 King Of Snake - With start of mighty rocking hard Rick's Bungalow edit. That legendary one from site a long long time ago...Just amazing.
12 Born Slippy.NUXX - With new sharp sound at the start, long section with layers, many breakdowns

Karl shouted: You want some more?

13 Jumbo - Karl on guitar, great improvisation on guitar, great performance of Jumbo, I would rate 10/10.
14 Moaner - Great performance with the extra add on, final hug by the duo.

Pure bliss this performance, Thank you Underworld. Memorable evening at this distant airfield.

That nu train keeps reminding me of the bootleg babies dark train, sans guitar of course, with the train dropping in so early, and then kept around under the vocal loops.

These pics were posted to their facebook today:

edit: the nu train I was thinking of was Monegros, not Prague... my bad. The Prague one is below, however!

It appears they did impro(intro)/cowgirl/rez instead of rez/cowgirl?

But the end of Pearl´s Girl was more like punches :)

That crazy start to Born Slippy is the siren sound theyve used several times but theyve messed with it and have that sort of ripping noise in it. Near the end it sort of sounds like "Whoomp...There It Is!".......lol

It was in 2010 when they started using it. I can't recall if the san diego recording has it, the earlier sets for the BBC didn't have it. Positive the japanese tour had it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvc-zfK8G38

I just felt this one in particular had some weight to it. maybe it's just recording quality.

Just double checked. Turns out my chronology was wrong, the US tour was AFTER the japanese tour, so all the US stops had the windup as well as the Japanese. First recording I have with it is the October 10th recording at Zepp Osaka in Japan. Last I have without is the September 15th Maida Vale recording. So somewhere in that month it saw it's genesis. :) </mega mega nerd thing>

Yes I can confirm that the middle section of Cowgirl was very very long - that bassline, it was sort of improvising between Cowgirl and Rez. It was long treatment of these legendary tracks. Wonderfull build up to great gig.
So... Gowgirl, Cowgirl bassline improvisation, Rez (This is even better in my honest oppinion than mighty Rez/Cowgirl)

I'd be VERY (pleasantly) surprised to get anything more than YouTube videos. Undarrenworld was there so he'd be best bet for an audience recording, and a Soundboard just seems unlikely. Hope I'm wrong, though.

Also, a thought triggered by Andreas last show worries... possible last show of this set list? A long break between shows with talk of new albums around, seems like a good time to shuffle things up.

From 4:20 on for the next 40 minutes is just them. I haven't watched the whole thing, so I don't know where it ends/if there's any cuts (edit: there's cuts at not fantastic points). Also sound quality isn't terrible for an audience recording.
