With the apparent closure of HMV UK stores I've been thinking about those countless times of browsing the cd/record racks in a store like HMV, and listening to a cd on the PA or on a listening post, I was wondering, where did the rest of you buy your first (or 2nd etc) piece of u/w music? Mine was BF in HMV, Oxford (they played it in full for several days when released. 2nd was HMV again in my fav town of Cheltenham - suddenly spotted STITI (with bonus disc of BS/Nuxx & Rez) while browsing.
