The 991 URL says it should have been released Wednesday 30th Jul 2003. The release is not listed on discogs for V2 Japan but there isnt anything else listed for 158 either https://www.discogs.com/label/407127-V2-Records-Japan-Inc The CD Journal URL gives some more info. They are talking about the Back To Mine CD being released but they also say its being released ahead of the new Twist single and even give a price of 1575 Yen and the catalogue number V2CP-158.

Google translates as "Wait at the Fuji Rock Festival '03 performance underworld , and came ahead of its proprietary single-Japan June 18 , "Tsuuisuto" (V2Cp-158 \ 1,575 (tax included)) is released. Just wondered if this ever made it out even as promo as the Twist (Remix) is listed which could be something previously unreleased. The AHDO page on wikipedia has no mention that this was planned / scrapped / promo only...

This was before my time, but I seem to remember reading/hearing that it was cancelled and nothing was ever released. Maybe Matt or -1 know more.

sorry, there were a few 'phantom' releases
that may have been mentioned..

but unless someone else knows someone
from the studio, or has access to the prerelease
version, it probably wasn't commercially released..

maybe we'll get lucky, and someone will see this post,
and say 'yeah, i have the only copy of it!'... and share it.
if it actually does exist..

But no further information. No Twist promo has ever leaked, and that elusive remix remains so.

Yeah, it was definitely discussed at the time as the third single, then just quietly disappeared.

I'm not sure what I would have chosen as third single from AHDO, but it definitely wouldn't have been Twist.

We do have the "Ansum" promo version of Twist, which is 2+ mins longer than the album version. It has a full on TMO style ending with cowbells - Ricks fav sound for that era..
