Inspired by the greatest decade ever, well musically, this mix is a selection of tunes you might not hear that much in 80’s mixes and sets, some of my favourite classics from the entire spectrum of the 80’s with a rare Underworld Mark I track to end off. Enjoy the decade that music never forgot.

Its a great mix. Except for the Shalamar / Malcolm Mclaren (my god that has not dated well) / Timex, which always were pants. The rest though are great and made me go back to the original albums. Especially the Yazoo (Upstairs at Erics is still brilliant) and Simple Minds (before they were pompous asses).

MKI track i've never heard. I love it. Superpower is about as close to an MKII/III track as the early stuff gets. Now, how do I get my hands on a copy of this thing. Was it ever officially released?

One of my favorite dirtyradio mixes of 2011, btw. Nice work BSS.

revisited this mix this morning and its still great. the mixing is a bit pants but hey thats BSS for ya ;) still stand by my claim that the Timex / Shalamar and especially the Malcolm McLaren really sounds horrible.Still, good to hear unreleased Underworld tracks! Not as bad as I thought it would be...

Nice. Unheard Underworld is always welcome. btw - Malcom McLaren's Buffalo Gals is a freakin' Classic! It's the type of track that makes you want to dig out your old parachute pants and a piece of cardboard with your boombox on your shoulder! :D

I most def will be d/l @ home. I'm really into 80's music, and as BSS stated, it WAS probably the greatest decade for music. I can't wait to listen to Superpower!!!
