What's it like in Bristol? Is it really like the wikipedia article?

well i agree with the wikipedia article, Bristol is a city (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_status_in_the_United_Kingdom), unitary authority area (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitary_authority_area) and ceremonial county (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceremonial_counties_of_England) in South West England (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_West_England).

Apart from the regional accent (oo-arr!) Bristol is an absolutely lovely city.

And I don't just say that because I spent the first 25 years of my life there. ;)

as for the city, I love Bristol. its a great place, some dodgy areas like all big cities. but its got character. the docks are a great now theyre redeveloped. some good bars there. Mike knows more cos he lives there (and delivers mail there so sees a lot of the city :))
