I'm a big fan of Cups. By this I mean the first 8 minutes, preceding the ravey "Pens" part they played live all the time during the Beaucoup Fish tour (though I also love that). So when I checked the Gigography to find it had been played eight times, I was excited. But for the longest time I could never find a recording of one of these shows! Until just now:

No clue where he got it but it was just uploaded about two weeks ago; it's really phenomenal.
(Also, I'd recommend adding Pens to the Reeperbahn setlist on the Gigography; they play it right after Cups)

I also love "cups" - all of it. The banging "pens" (where did that name come from?) portion on Everything,Everything and featured in comparatively more live gigs is a great segment, but the first 8 minutes - well, it probably on ly works live towards the start of a gig, hence it was only played in its entirety a few times. I probably have a couple bootlegs with the early part of Cups performed. Nonetheless, any and all parts of this track are welcome - it's in my top 10.

Found on a BF promo:

I will have a think about it, I decided to keep "Pens (Bridge)" as a reference to what we used to call "Cups@8.20" - simply the second part of Cups, when played on its own.
So where you see "Cups", it means it was played almost in its entirety, as on the album release..
The "Pens" name comes from an early BF Sampler tape where the first track was called Cups / Pens.
Mike.

Is that so? I searched "reeperbahn", "hamburg" and "mojo" in the tracker and didn't find the set. Fancy a link?

Is that so? I searched "reeperbahn", "hamburg" and "mojo" in the tracker and didn't find the set. Fancy a link?RTSR is more than the tracker. There is an FTP too.
But here is just the Reeperbahn link from hotfile in case you cant access it.

That's strange though... the setlist is entirely different from the one on the Gigography (http://www.uwlive.rowla.com/gigs/view/117)! And no Cups!
As far as I can tell this is the setlist of Stimp's .rar:
1. Synth Attack
2. Dark Train
3. Dirty Guitar
4. NUXX
5. The improv they ended NUXX with on Everything Everything.
6. Cowgirl with a really abrupt ending.
7. Unknown drum track with some spoken-word in the background
8. King of Snake
9. King of Snake (Bungalow)
All in all nothing like I was expecting. Really strange!

That download is incomplete and out of order.

Except, no "Rez"
Yeah, thats what i said ;)
Edit : Gigography now updated. That takes Cowgirl (http://uwlive.rowla.com/gigs/bySong/7) up to 194 known times played, the 2nd most popular live track.

I provided the hotfile link because I am currently unable to login to the RTSR FTP. Its being looked into. The FTP server is up, however.
