Cowgirl Lyric Query

For ages I've always assumed the lyric to be
"Why don't you come out I feel like flying in twos"

whereas a friend (and most lyric sites online) are claiming it to be
"Why don't you call me I feel like flying in two"

does anyone else have any other interpretations?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's "flying in two". Especially since on this tour, on the shadow screen, Karl specifically held up two fingers (like scissors) every time he sang "two."

'Homeless strays' makes more sense in the context of the full lyric - 'cats are gathering outside your window, homeless strays'.

But who really gives a shit, it's all about what you take from the song on a personal level. And Karl's barely intelligible on a lot of tracks, anyway xD

as for "an eraser of love" i think it's meant to be ambiguous, because in the music video it goes from "an eraser of love" to "razer roulette" and "reason" and then "raisin".

I always thought of the lyrics in the video to be (only) an interpretation by someone other than the band, as is indicated by the alternative spellings "eraser/erazor" and "i scream/ice cream". Haha, I know it's actually warmmachine. I was just messing around. If I remember correctly, that was one of the only songs that they released those lyrics for because they didn't want people to keep misunderstanding the lyrics and think it was political statement or something.

at this point, i can convert the book scans to a PDF

but running it through OCR will be a pain, due to the crazy
but cool typography.

Which AFAIK, is the actual wording, but I have been in many arguments about this :P

I can't imagine anything else it could be! Always been one of my favourite of Karl's lyrics. I love the really bizarre stuff. Call me wet trampoline is such a great phrase.
