I got a USB turntable for my birthday and have been slowly working through some old vinyl. I've spun Darren Price's Under The Flighpath for the first time in many years and noticed a guitar on the track Long Haul 747. Anyone know if it is Mr Hyde playing it?

I have the CD at home. I'll take a look when I get back, but I think as this album is from 1997, i doubt it. At least i've not noticed it before. Is there not a credit?

No, no credit on the album. Price was touring with them back then though. And remixing.

Just want to throw in that "Under The Flightpath" is an excellent album - I wish Mr. Price released more stuff. And when I look at "his" last.fm page (http://www.last.fm/music/darren%20price), I just can't believe the low number of plays and listeners.

I also have "Under the Flightpath" - a bit of STITI feel to it, but also a lot of track that sort of loop on a groove for minutes on end. It's well produced, but not always very exciting. Now, Pricey's 2005+ improvs in UW show are very very catchy, but maybe they work best as 1-2 minute jams?

my christmas would be complete if the uwlive shop suddenly posted some limited edition 12" 's of the pricey tunes that were played during the last tour! surely there would be enough demand to press a few!!
