anyone know of any off the bat that are not in 4/4 or change at a point in the song? it's kind of weird because i can't really listen to a song and tell if it's in 4/4 time or not, but i can still keep the beat. for example, radiohead's "idioteque" is in 10/4 and i can keep the beat, and genesis' "duke's travels" is in 11/8 and 7/8 and i can still keep the beat. so i'm just wondering if there are any of UW's songs in odd time signatures that i'm not aware of.

for example, two that strike me as possible ones would be cups and spikee.

Cups and Spikee are both 4/4. The only one that stands out to me right away is Glam Bucket, which has the most complex rhythm (not necessarily time signature) by far, using a 6 against 8 polyrhythm.

Edit: After listening through most of their catalog, as you'd expect, although they have a lot of complex rhythms, most of the time signatures are 4/4. However, here are some that have interesting time signatures:

Puppies: 3/4
Tiny Clicks: many polyrhythms
Headset: complex
Phonestrap 6/Autotrader 4: 6 against 8 polyrhythm

sappys curry is 4/4.

i know the beats are 4/4 but the guitar to me sounds like it's a different time sig.

I'm just working from memory here, but I'm pretty sure Radiohead's "Idioteque" is in 4/4 or 8/4.

And regarding Sappys Curry - there can't be more than one time signature simultaneously in any piece. It's 4/4 (and the guitar bits sound 4/4 to me as well - if they weren't the whole piece would still be 4/4, and the guitar part would just have an unconventional - not-bound-to-bars - timing. But it doesn't)

I don't think you'll find much outside of 4/4 in dance music. There's a reason why Idioteque isn't really danceable.
