'(a lot of poisson)'

i'm back from their last gig and it was amazing!
they didn't used screens and videos but the magic was here.
3 hours of good sound (very good sound) some old tunes (Spikee) some really new (Peggy Sussed, lenny penne) and some totally unknown.
My head is full of stars, maybe because of the lights on Moaner :eek:
A big thanks to the dirty krew, stay dirty :D

Longer report later.
Hello a lot of poisson :) Nice to have met you at the concert.
This was a super gig, don't let anyone tell you something else. Lots of experimenting, lots of mixing a good tracks.
Big shoutout to the spotlight-man who had to cope with chavs at the gate in front of the stage and a workspace of a foot wide. (and Karl bouncing around for 3 hours nonstop)

What a gig!
All I can say right now is Born Slippy (Original), Spikee, Juanita, KOS, Moaner.
Great to meet up with the other Dirts, especially at the afterparty.

Hey goatsucker!
The afterparty at the elevator bar... wasn't that a blast. Tall beers, loud great music, the smoke, dancing, bouncing, chatter, the smoke, the vantilator, the smoke, the DJ, the broken glass, the heat, cheering people, polish girls, classics classics classics, dirty friends, dirty dirty banner, sweat, videoing, photos... did I mention the smoke already?

fantastic gig! http://www.dirty.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
absolutely fantastic. well worth a train ticket to london, a eurostar ticket to brussels and another 3 hour train ride to luxembourg. (karl, can you give me a credit on my underworldlive account for this? c'mon!!!)
small venue. no screens. just underworld, lights and a laser. nuthin more required. they were on top form. loadsa mixin up stuff. i was tryin to remember a tracklist but lost track after a while. it started with summat i didn't recognise - karl reading lyrics. i think it went into skyscraper and poss dark&long. memory is fuzzy now. deffo spikee turned up. juanita was ace. born slippy original mix was in there (yeeay!) which went into nuxx which went into the 2003 version and back. fab. KOS was in there. and TMO i think. moaner. cowgirl/rez. jumbo. new stuff from the new download ep. there was a fantastic dubstyleeee track which i've heard but dont have and dont know the name of. anyone? dark train was the encore. man they played a lot. 3 mental hours. http://www.dirty.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif
i was right at the front opposite rick and pricey. unfortunately i was right next to a bunch of spazzy nutters to my right who were waving like goons and squarking and p!ssing off the security guys. my arm is well bruised from all the elbowing, but i wasn't gonna move cos i was havin a whale of a time...! http://www.dirty.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif
disappointed not to've met up with the dirty peeps - i failed to get an email off with my mobile no to "register" for the meet. i think i spotted you over to the right (i followed eye contact from karl in your direction) and wanted to come and say hello at the end but i missed you. i was with the misses tho so i wasn't lonely! see you next time http://www.dirty.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif
anyway, i took a few foto's which u can see here (http://www.effingood.com/lux) i'm in one of them with a lager lager lager. there's also a closeup of some of the mixer strip thingys for you techy peeps. can u match the strip to the tune?!! there's a couple of easy ones.
keep it dirty

Yeah we were on the right of those 'happy few', I was actually blocking them from standing on someones bag that was laying against the fench for much of the concert.
2 times dark&long is right, in the set and again as encore. I thought a wierd choice to do something twice, but then again, lots of wierd things going on in this concert which made it very very special.

What an amazing show. Home at last, reflecting on it, and can't really say enough. Brilliant music, great crowd (save for those morons that were elbowing everyone) great afterparty - too much Bofferding, but that's another story altogether. The dirty crew was in full on party mode this weekend. :)
I've got some good pics that I'll share, as soon as I figure out how. But first, time for a nap.

Best live show I have ever seen in my life.
Aside from the nutters (whom Karl dealt with very nicely at the end :) ) the ambiance was amazing. Meeting Karl and Darren at our hotel in Tilburg the day before was a wonderful surprise. Thank you, guys, for you patience as I know you had an appointment you were late for. And thank you, Darren, for the smile and the wave at l'Atelier the next night. :)
As for the after party - wow. Excellent DJ (and a damn site better than Marco Bailey at ILT who was, well, tedious and repetitive).
Some people suffered more than others from the Bofferding - glad I limited my intake. ;)
Just trying to get my head round the whole trip atm - awesome. Kisses to all the Dirts.

Hiya :)
Great to see you made it all back home.
Wasn't it the best night ever in luxembourg? And that DJ indeed has to get on stage at ILT next year. Although 5500 people thought Bailey was good I got bored big time by him.

Well, the 8th one from the bottom has a loop called "crazy crazy crazy crazy." Wonder which one that could be?

I am sooo jealous right now. "Spikee" AND "Juanita" in the same show?! <falls over> Did "Spikee" have Karl's geetar jam at the end?

sadly it didn't both times they played it in Tilburg. It was still great to hear Spikee, but I have to admit that the guitar finale is my favourite part of the song and they didn't play it. Ah well...
Karl only picked up his guitar once in those two gigs and that was for the vocoding effect on TMO.

Doesn't the guitar get used on Jumbo too? They played that at the end of the 2nd 013 gig.
