I know that link should be hyperlinked but its not. They should put the URL for non-HTML email.

I'd like to say that it's all really really really really awesome but two minor thingies;

Firefox won't let me right-click the download links; gives me an error ; "link could not be saved. The web page might have been removed or had its name changed"
When I just click the link, a new window opens and the download dialog pops up though.

And I wonder why the .mp3's and .mov's are zipped, it does not provide any significant extra compression.

I prefer the files to be zipped as a lot of browsers get hijacked by Quicktime/WindowsMediaWhore and try to open them in the browser rather than save them.

Anyways, free stuff = good. efforts much appreciated.

All right, I'm having trouble viewing the Quicktime videos. The audio plays fine, but the video won't play at all. My Quicktime player is up-to-date, but it's missing components not available on the Quicktime server. Any idea what's up with this?

back online, we kicked the server and tiped a gin and tonic into it- seems to
have done the trick! and indeed with some ice...

oh and Malt dude, i added the url to the activation email so people can
copy and splash the link in the location mumble, ta dude.

Did the exact same thing for me. Ended up having to use my Gmail account instead (which I don't like using for this sort of thing). Seems to be related to the email address field, as that is the only part I changed.

more likely me restarting the server when testing last staging stuff- and your
activation not getting added to your user file. pm me your email and i will activate you.

the register email now comes with the link- you can just copy that and past
it into your browsers location field and activate that way.

It'll be interesting to see what tomorrow brings, not only in terms of quality/quantity of new music, but also how we will be able to get it, and how these forums will evolve to discuss what could be a large number of new songs (e.g. if you have to pay, will every song be debated as to the merits of DLing? Does every track or snippet get a thread? If its free, do we all go nuts and crash the server?)

ummm...my registration confirmation email said:

and then listed a bunch of links, all of which contained my registration name and password, but none of which seemed functional.

Here's the quick hack to get around the multiple choices email. Find the last part of that link, eg:
A=ant1234567890&E=bob@myemailaddres.com&P=topsecretpassword

Now paste it into a URL after
http://www.underworldlive.com/index/login/activation/?

so for my example
http://www.underworldlive.com/index/login/activation/?A=ant1234567890&E=bob@myemailaddres.com&P=topsecretpassword

click the button it gives you, and you're off!

- The stop frames won't play in my quicktime (PC) -->convertor not available

Update your Quicktime to V7. That means you get bullied into having iTunes, but there's worse fates.

there should be a standalone (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html) download of Quicktime available. However, I recommend Quicktime Alternative (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm) from free-codecs.com.

I've tried to create an account at underworldlive.com but never received an activation email. I tried retrieving via lost password but where the email says

no link follows. I cannot buy the new tunes because I can't login. I've sent a couple emails to members@underworldlive.com but received no response. Please help. :(

I think R&K have done a superlative job with the new tracks. Love the ambient and the kickin' parts. Sure it's a little schizo, but that's why I love it.

What I want next is some killer remixes! you know a nouveau-bedrock hits the "lovelys" kinda thing.

fixed: '-' and '_' in the email checking, sorry about that. can now have
emails like: ant@yellow_lemon-ducky.com.

did some relinking. was getting abit confusing. so now u login and it goes to
your download page and not the the archive. i'm messing around with
somthing here that should make it all much nicer :)...

fixed: the zip file was compressed on a mac (sodding mac users!)
have redone it myself (cant trust anyone to get it right) and should all open
under windows builtin zip mumble. if it dont i will kill my mate at microsoft coss
its just using the built in zip mumble. also unzips find on a mac still. i love
my mac :) so cute looking... apple rulz (just in case i get told off)...

going to add some new things to the site to make it nicer to use... your
feedback most tops- keep it flowing. oh and i havent even had time to play
the next package yet! hehehehe- only jesting- i'v not seen it yet ither.

Thanks but the post didn't say where to find the link that portion comes from. I never actually received an activation email and request password doesn't actually provide any portion of the link although it tries to include it.

I've just sent aNt a PM. Hopefully he can help. Thanks again. :)

You're automatically logged out when trying to download all the 2005 and pre-2005 audio and video material simultaneously. This is the only and correct way to log out. Go check!
