All right, I got Underwater Episode 04, and I just read the little bit in the bottom right corner that Darren Emerson is coming out with his own album. I checked the Underwater homepage (not thoroughly, I'll admit), and I didn't see anything there. Anyone (I'm looking at you Matt) have any info about this?

BTW guys - what's Darren's dj sets like these days?

He's playing my home town next week.
I'm going to check him out - just wanted to get an idea
of the kind of set he does.

"As well as producing club cuts for Underwater under his H2O moniker Darren has begun work on his eagerly anticipated debut album. Scheduled for a 2006 release the album is shaping up to be something quite special. The first fruits of the sessions "Hard4slow" and "Superbadd" appear on the Underwater Episode 4 compilation mixed by Darren and Sharam Jey and will be released later this year (2005)."

well i still think this should be in Underworld as its related...as Darren is related as he used to be in the band...(likewise all Freur posts get put here usually)

(this is where i'd look for Darren news...mainly because i stick it here myself...)

Yes darren solo pieces like I cant hear you, or Superbadd are amazing.
That Superbadd song is long work in progress. I remember Darren`s set from Ibiza 2003, where he used the voice samples but without the amazing grooves, that comes later and rocked.:) ..

FYI, the vocalist on Hard4Slow is Earth from Gus Gus. that track is amazing.

I think "Mountains" from Episode 1 was a really solid groove, though I never go around to buying the other episodes. Solid guy, more listenable than most.

I'll check it out when it releases, see if it's not too bland.

Just saying that I love "Scorchio" by Darren Emerson and Sasha, always gives me chills. Great vibe.
