View Full Version : I might be headed for Glasgow!

So as some of you guys might know, I'm an artist and have been studying printmaking for the past three years or so.

Basically, I got my BA in Psychology, then decided it probably wasn't what I wanted to do, then "rediscovered" art

So over the past year, I've been getting my portfolio together and doing applications to various grad schools so I can get my MFA

...and I'm starting to get letters back from schools (some haven't been all that great)

BUUUUUT

One that was positive was for the Glasgow School of Art

and I just got a letter that they selected me for an interview for entry!

My interview is on the 17th, so obviously - I'll be doing it on the phone, but wish me luck! (just hope my phone doesn't completely crap out... it's already hanging by a thread, and it's several years old)

If I get accepted, I'll be moving to Glasgow!!!!

Excellent!

My cousin went to Glasgow School of Art - she works as an art therapist now.

You will love Scotland. And you need to hook up with Ally when you're up there - he will show you all the cool stomping grounds!

I actually went out and got a new phone the day after I wrote that post! I realized, it wasn't worth the risk

i spent a few days in Glasgow.. wish i spent more in Edinburgh though.
also the streets seemed a little dodgy at night.
