the thing about these, is that the covers slide easily into the frames, so you can change them if and when the mood takes. but i agree that canvas scans would look the dog's.
something that they could sell in the shop IF IT EVER OPENS AGAIN!

Not being an owner of the dubno vinyl, is that the main sleeve and two inserts or did you cut up the sleeve into sections for framing?
Or are those 3 different releases altogether?

cut it up?! nope - as you say, it's front cover plus inserts. the beauty of these frames is that you can change the art very easily, so the other sides of the cover and inserts can be displayed at will. i've got a 4th which currently has 'dark and long' in it...
...all hanging in my newly-named 'underworld corridor'* :)
*exhibition lasting until pixies albums arrive off ebay ;)

Ditto. Been thinking about doing this with some KMFDM stuff for awhile but now I'm thinking the Riverrun 12"s would be nice in my office...although then I'd have constant "what's a play pig?" from my co-workers, so maybe not:rolleyes:

I've seen these for sale at Michael's craft stores before, though they don't seem to sell them online:

Of course Amazon has em, too.

those look a little insubstantial - ebay.com (http://cgi.ebay.com/LP-Album-frames_W0QQitemZ180419289637QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMus ic_on_Vinyl?hash=item2a01d3e225)has better...

The Michael's ones are good enough, simple black frame deals - I have a little collage in the hall:
The Cure, Timelords, Depeche Mode, Adam Ant, Japan, Bowie, Echo, Chameleons, B-52s... stacked 3x3 - looks pretty nice, IMHO... but if you were onyl hanging one or two, I agree, a more substantial frame might be in order...

i think i'm going to make full color copies of the covers..
and then mount them on a board,
and then frame them..
that way, i can still sell the originals!!!!
