Hi

Way back in the early nineties I attended the Glastonbury Festival and heard a DJ playing what sounded like a new remix of Freur's old classic 'Doot Doot'. After this they played a track which I can only assume was by Underworld Mk I called something like 'Spirit of the World'. Despite searching the web I have never been able to find any mention of a nineties remix of 'Doot Doot' yet I'm sure one existed. Sounded a bit trip hoppy. Does anyone have any idea whether such a remix did exist and if so whether it is available anywhere?

Thanks

hmm...

well, I don't know of a 90's remix of "Doot Doot"
but I know that there was at least an extended mix

UW MkI did have a track called "Spirit of the World", but I think it wasn't ever released' (it's a rather slow song... and kinda sounds a bit trip-hoppy)

but - "spirit of the world" is also a lyric in "M.E." (off Dubnobasswithmyheadman)

"Well the sunlight we requested yesterday came through..."

Deep digging :D Thank you for the link! Doot doot is one my favourites.

"Freur went on to become Underworld and you should buy everything they release..."
hmmm... what release? Is there a new release after the OWB? If it is I´ll buy it at once!
