UW would release the studio versions of tracks played live...
i'm not talking of immediate releases of tunes tried once or twice but proper finished versions (which must exist) of tracks that have been played live for the past 3/4 years but that you cannot simply buy / get hold of unless you get a live recording - can we / will we see the release of these tunes in some finished format - you all know the ones we mean, because i suspect most of the tracks talked about won't appear on the new album next year, because they never do...
we'd pay for them i'm sure... so any chance uw...??

i thought you were the number one super fan Matt. Don't you have the "Bat Phone" to call them and request these things? Very disappointing if not.

I agree but it hard to tell what they plan to release. They hinted at more riverrun release before a new album next year so maybe some of these tracks (I presume you're talking about stuff like You Do Scribble, Always Loved a Film, Bamboo, Strumpet etc) will be part of riverruns and one or two might end up in some form on the album.
I hope these tracks don't befall the same fate as Parc, which was thankfully released in the end but only, it seemed, after a lot of fans begged them to. And even then it was only on a rather obscure japanese-only release.

any release is a bonus, i just would not want them to be blended into a 30 minute ep, i'd like separate clean tracks. i also have a feeling the RRP will be more melodic noodlings like before rather than potential bangers like you've mentioned, i'll take a RRP or two plus some more limited 12" / downloads like we saw with the RRP 12" series... i'm not fussed ;)
