Nice find matt! Its a nice track, quite deep groove.. back to basics i guess.
Although the 'festival goers' don't seem to be into that one do they?

Sounds great. I'm excited.
@ Darktrain, i was thinking the same thing.
It sounds like a sure fire commercial hit too, and thats a good thing - its been a while since they did anything that sounded 'mainstream'....
Run out of money boys? hehe :P

Is this the new UW song?
It is!
It's what I heard in Montreux (http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forums/showpost.php?p=112524&postcount=3) & designated as "unknown". Don't know if that's "Between the Stars", though.

Considering the first verse was labelled as "Between Stars" in the photo we saw, I assume it's at least the work-in-progress name. Regardless, I'm liking it. Sorta moody like Strumpet, sorta melodic like YDS, and a real throwback to the old UW despite that. And, once again, boys, that name is just awesome.

The name is "Between Stars" not "Between the Stars". Thank you. tia.

Very cool track....catchy as fuck & it seems like one of those songs that could be played a different way each time live etc.
With this song, Do You Scribble, and Pecan Sandies I'm already getting a good vibe from the tracks they currently have to pick from.
Viva la Underworld!

Song sounds good, think the vocals were a bit overpowering for the whole gig by the looks of the other vid so i hope they are a little more toned down on the track... maybe a bit faster tempo too... but its sounding like very good things are on the way!

And the visuals are looking brilliant! - a special mention for them because clearly a whole load of work has gone into getting it right...way more than any other act out there... its still about the art, and i love that

I like it. First impressions, the bass-line reminded me instantly of Death in Vegas' Hands Around My Throat. I have no doubt it sounds way different in person than on Youtube. :)

nice - more Karl actually singing (rather than being a wordsmith)... it does sound very like its from a dubno session - lets hope the 90's are back with UW's sound :)

wow - this track is surely going to be massive.
Sounds a bit like "The Knife" at the start, but then kicks off,
love the synths on this one.
Are the audience singing back to the chorus (around 0:56)? brilliant :)

The new song sounds incredible. I was listening to the whole concert on youtube and I was curious as to what this track is:

It's very short, but sounds amazing and I don't think I've heard it before. Anyone know what it is?

The ironic part is that it's 15 years old and 12 minutes long. The correct part is that it's amazing.
But can it compete with what "Between Stars" might eventually become? There's no way of telling.

The truck driving by in the background adds a new element to a UW show. Oh and the song is cool, too.

i drive too fast
under a full moon
save the best for last
under a full moon
and pray it don't crash
under a full moon
when the heads too far out of whack
step back
step back
(repeat)
and the hope of the world
rides with one man
everybody cram
on the telephone ringing
we hold our breath
and spin around the world
you and me cling to the outside of the earth
under a full moon
---------------------
i've got you on my brain, again (and again)
and i hear your voice on a northbound bus
chinatown to chinatown
and the hope of the world
rides with one man
everybody cram
on the telephone ringing
we hold our breath
we spin around the world
you and me cling to the outside of the earth
under a full moon
----------------------
will you hold my camera
will you press release
will you capture me
as the lights go down
don't wait for me
i'm always late
its in my blood
in the sun
i feel the world go round
i feel the world go round
(repeat)
we hold our breath
spin around the world
you and me cling to the outside of the earth
under a full moon.

I hope theres no feeling of deja vu like when the live version of Glam Bucket first came out. We all liked it and then some people didnt like the slower studio version.

Oh geez. I am one of those people. Hahaha.
I have a feeling this song won't be a disappointment for me though. Digging it a lot-!

Wow. This song is amazing. They've got so much great stuff saved up here. This one, Diamond Jigsaw, YDS, ALAF/Silver Boots, Moon in Water, Strumpet, Bamboo, Parc...that right there is a hell of an album
