I'd like to use this space to give thanks to Danielle at Underworld HQ for being so helpful with shop orders and general fan inquiries. We all love Rick, Karl, Darren and the designers (Toby et.al) who make the art we all love but they also have some fantastic people working with them behind the scenes.

Three cheers for Danielle and a rousing thanks to the rest of the crew.

If Danielle or someone else behind the scenes at UW.HQ has helped you out, lets here a bit of praise for them in this thread.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any troubles with the shop so far, so I haven't had the pleasure of having to contact Danielle. :(

weird thread...

anyway there was an order mixup and she was extremely nice about it, she followed through and with a thank you on the back of the postcard. i ended up giving the extra cd i got to a fellow dirt.

I've heard from other dirts who have had positive experiences with Danielle and thought it would be nice to publicly say thanks if someone at UW.HQ has provided quality service. Seems you had a good experience too.

What a lovely appreciatiave thread this is turning out to be - just shows that common courtesy is still alive and well :) Danielle's announcement on the Southampton broadcast re the "u/w socks" always brings a smile to my face (together with Karl's reply!)

freur - that's an exception to the rule - she's always been prompt, friendly and efficient with me...

I went for a drink with a young aNt. Many years ago that was.

I'm still recovering.

D is tops. She's never sent me a postcard tho. :)

every time i see her mentioned I think of the beginning of the "always loved a film" uw broadcast where karl goes "ohh danielle"

I certainly owe Danielle big time! She arranged the photo pass for me last year at Fuji Rock,
so I could video the show. God bless her!

Very busy girl too! She was running around backstage handling about 50 different things at once
before the show, and all the while, she was in complete control and an absolutely delightful person!

In a way, she is like the 4th Underworld member! She makes it all come together so seamlessly!

I'd like to add to this thread by saying a BIG THANKS to Danielle (& Mike) once again,
for helping make arrangements for me to obtain 2 tickets to an Underworld gig back in 2006 in Vienna.

I had arranged to bring my girlfriend (at the time) to Vienna as a surprise trip
It was my plan to propose to her while in Vienna and surprise her with tickets to the gig the following night.
She said "Yes" & we got to see UW live on a barge the following night - result all round.

We're now married 2 years and have a wonderful bady boy, he celebrated his first birthday last week :)

I have passed on my thanks privately before - but I'd like to just share my appreciation with all of you - and of course Danielle :)

Lets hear it for Blueboy and Poker at FBZ From the looks of lots of you out there are using it. Thanks to him there is a full heading for poker and there have been a number of good FBZ tournaments.
