Whoa, you tellin me there's fellow Wisconsin dirts???

I don't expect a Wisconsin show either, but anywhere even remotely close would be great. I'd travel further to see UW than any other group, but when the US tour is just like LA/New York/Boston it's more like I have to take a vacation to see them.

for the OwB tour, I did all the US dates..

as rabid as we dirts are, the boys just don't have the pull here that they do elsewhere.

the attendance for the second night of the san francisco leg was a fraction of what it was the first.

red rocks was cancelled - and relocated to the much smaller fillmore - due to low ticket sales.

the cavernous bank of america pavilion in boston was barely 3/4 full.

combine that with the fact that karl and rick generally aren't interested in 'standard' venues - opting for the more 'scenic' and 'iconic' spaces - and you've got a pretty good idea of why the US tour only hits a handful of cities.

not sure if i'll do the entire thing again.. but i had such an amazing time in 2007 - truly a trip i will never forget - that i just might have another tour of my own!

I didn't mind the 2nd SF date being a little more open. I'd say the fraction you talk about was prob. 2/3 the original crowd. Still full enough to feel good but not so crowded you couldn't move. Both nights in SF were good but I think the vibe at the Denver show was better. Hard to say.

oh, i agree. if it were up to me i'd have a show at red rocks and be the only one in the audience.

denver was my favorite, too.

Atlanta was probably my favorite UWlive experience after having seen them just about a dozen times: festivals and solo shows combined.

I'd fly down for that show if it were to be announced.

There hasn't been an indoor UW show in the Northeast in quite some time. We're due!

You're from the northeast of the U.S., too? Yeah, I hope that they play in Boston this upcoming tour. NYC is a bit far, but I'd drive 5 hours one way to see them live if I had to. My older brother said he'd go to a concert of theirs with me, and I dunno if he'd still want to go if they played in NYC and not Boston.
