(I didn't realize you were in Portland...I was just there! Powell's w00t w00t!) Yep yep! Portland and Powells. Next time your down shoot me a message and we should grab a drink or something.
Powells can be a dangerous place for me sometimes. I've already been three times this week since Sunday.

I know! Me and my girlfriend left because we actually couldn't carry any more books! Fun.

What's bad is when I go in there, as I have this week each time getting one specific thing, whether it's a gift for a co-worker or a book to give to a friend and I end up leaving with one or two other books that I'm always looking for and happened to be on the shelf used. It also doesn't help when you know employees there who can hook you up with a discount that makes things even cheaper.

With the employee discount it breaks down like this: 30% off new books, 50% off used.
So my friend is grabbing me a copy of Difficult Loves by Italo Calvino, Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugendies, and another copy of If on a winter's night a traveler by Calvino for about $13-15 for all three. All are used so it makes it very cheap.
I still will buy new books though as new releases like the new books by Michael Chabon, Don Delillo, and Haruki Murakami are immediately marked 30% off.

Why did you delete your last.fm account? You keep deleting your accounts from different things =/

That book site is fun, though I've only entered about half of one book shelf in my apt. There are quite a few more to go.

Alright, so I was thinking we should start a dirty or darktrain group as adam had suggested.
Which one does everyone want to use? I like dirty, but that isn't necessarily the name of the site anymore.
hmm....
Well, we could debate it here, or you could just start one and then it would be done. :)
